August has been recognized as a distinguished teacher, scholar and administrator at 阿宾顿. He was appointed associate dean for academic affairs in 2016, managing a portfolio of 25 bachelor's degree programs and academic support services. His title transitioned to vice chancellor earlier this year to align with the roles at other campuses.
In his previous term as interim chancellor, from July 2020 through January 2021, 他监督了,000多学生, more than 330 faculty, the baccalaureate degree programs, an MBA partnership with Penn State Great Valley, the NCAA Division III athletics program, and numerous outreach initiatives and partnerships that benefit the region and beyond.

August earned doctoral and master’s degrees from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, 所有的历史.
