Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the Equity Pedagogy Network increased its reach to four campuses, nine collaborating centers and units and also hosts 130 faculty with about 100 members involved in one of their working groups. Casually referred to as "the Network," the group aims to improve societal outcomes for all students and faculty via improved teaching and learning on equity, bias and diversity.

Penn State Behrend awarded 669 undergraduate and graduate degrees at two outdoor commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 8. The ceremonies were held at Behrend's soccer stadium, with COVID safety protocols in place for the duration of each program.

Senior psychology major Mitchell Stokes, left, graduated at a ceremony held on the Penn State Schuylkill campus on Saturday, May 8, 2021. Stokes is a Navy veteran who owns his own gym and is father to the happy little girl in this image. Following graduation, he plans to pursue graduate studies with the goal of ultimately working as a mental health professional for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
